Have you ever been lied to? Remembering the hurt and disappoint you felt in your heart. What if something you thought of as a child was a complete lie. For instance the zoo. Every young child likes going to the zoo to see the animals. But what if those animals were being mistreated or weren’t happy animals because of the way their locked up. Would you still wanna go see them? All the animals you thought were safe in their “natural habit” were really in nothing but a prison. I Personally believe that Zoo’s are nothing more than interment camps for animals and should be shut down.

If you get a chance to get close to the animals you can see it in their eyes how miserable they really are. No animal wants to be locked up all day when they can run free in the wild. I mean would you want to be kept in a confided space after spending days in an open environment? In an article I found online they said captive animals lose everything that is natural to them and as a result they become lonely and bored. There is a term called Zoochosis, which is used to show the behavior of animals in captivity. Because of this term, it is it is said that some zoo’s even give a mood-altering drug to the animals because the public has started to catch on to the animals moods. Some animals just have had enough and try to escape. It was said that at a Dallas Zoo, a gorilla tried to escape by jumping over the walls, only to be fatally shot by police. Witnesses later stated that teenagers were provoking the gorilla by throwing rocks at him. At a zoo in China kids were throwing snowballs at helpless lions. These animals didn’t get captured in the wild and brought here for you to abuse them. They came here so
