A Memorable Place

A memorable place that sticks in my would have to be when i was on a beach in Kauai, Hi. The smell of the fresh air, i could almost still feel the humidity on my skin. The sound of the water swishing back and forth, what a relaxing feel. How i miss my long vacation in Hawaii. When i was about 10 was the first time i visited Hawaii and ever since the images of the beach and the scenery have always stuck in my head.

As i was laying on the beach, i felt a drop on my face i look up and i see a big cloud. It started pouring. I got up and ran away looking for the nearest tree or canopy to stand under. At first i was mad and then i got over it, i just thought to myself “What do i expect, its Hawaii.’' Until this day i doze off and imagine myself in the same position laying in the sand that felt like silk with the strong heat waves hitting my body.

My senses when i was there where looking at every aspect of what was going on to seeing no ones on the beach to looking at the little crabs that would run around when the ocean water would rise up. The water was as clear as ocean water and would swish back and forth, i layed there for hours. At the end of the day i rode my bike back home and was as sun burnt as a lobster. The sounds of the ocean and the peaceful moment scared my memory to create and ever lasting memorable moment that i will always remember.

Overall the bliss moment was estonishing, the moment bring me serenity. Anytime i’m feeling

The Lost Boys reflect the exact definition of their name; they are lost in a new culture. This reality will create great difficulties as they move forward, and attempt to create stable, independent lives for themselves. Not every one of these boys will be successful in their journeys. It is these individuals that could create a negative stigma for their fellow Lost Boys in society. This negative influence might be caused by the inability to stay in school, and get a job which could lead to drug and alcohol abuse as a means to cover the shame or pain. Bad circumstances will quickly create a downward spiral for the boys that will be very hard to pull away from. The community will only see these negative ripples, and not the harsh causes; therefore,…

There once was a time that I went to cabo San Lucas Mexico with my family. The reason that this trip was so special too was because I got to spend a whole week with my grandparents, aunts and uncles and most importantly my parents. When we first got we went to are rooms and put are thing down then went right down to the pool. I can still remember the way the pool look and felt because I got cut on one of the tiles in the pool. One there reasons I liked the pool so much is you could just sit there and watch the sun set. Then the next day I went fishing on the beach that was so cool casting out a fishing line and sitting there waiting with family there beaches are so beautiful and nice like the ones you see in TV commercials. I haven’t even got to the best part they have a little cruise called sunset cruise. You rode on a pirate ship and watch people fight and watch the sun go down. I was a lot like the movie call peter pan. This little cruise was so special because in a hurry and I got locked out of my room I forgot to wear shoes so I was without shoes that whole night. There is one restraints that you have to go to when you are there I mean they have unreal food. They have huge tacos filled with anything you want with beans, rice and a side salad. I can taste it now. I also remember the time I went with my grandparents to the beach after the sun went down with one of my uncles. You have experienced nothing until that happened I mean the sand nice and cold between your toes swimming in the ocean you feel so free and wild. That is why cabo San Lucas Mexico is so special to me. I have a lot of good memories there with my…

The sand was white and the water was super clear. On the beach, people were scuba diving everywhere and my grandparents said we go if we wanted too. When we got on all our gear and got into the water, there was fish swimming around everywhere I swam. All of them were tropical fish so the fish were all different colors. The coral was sensationally close to us and so was the fish. Afterwards, my sister and I were collecting shells and paddle boarding, but we eventually potency back to the boat since we had a…

It was toward mid-senior year in high school. Maybe February. I was anticipating which colleges would accept someone like me, and trying to enjoy as much time with friends as I could. I was with my best friends, appreciating a beautiful Southern California day, and had come to realize my last days as a senior were coming to a close. I was a perfect day; big white clouds covered the skies, along with the beaming sun hitting the earth. The oceans breeze in our faces, and our shades on. High-wasted shorts and crop tops were the main clothing we’d wear, and if it were cold we’d just layer a sweater over it. We were living the “Cali lifestyle” because I live in an area where most of the students at my high school were half Caucasian and half Asian. I live in an area where the beach is only ten minutes away. Seeing dolphins or whales from the cliffs is a regular sight to see. Going to big bear during the winter is normal, and so are trips to Hawaii. Fortunately I had the opportunity to meet the greatest friends and best friends I will ever have in my life. But there is a lot you still don’t know.…

The first beach we went to was so cool, it was the coolest beach I have ever seen. There was a lot of surfers there, they were all super good at surfing. We stayed and watched them surf for a while but what we weren’t noticing was the waves. My brother and I were on the sand and since we were looking at the surfers this huge wave comes and gets us entirely wet, which technically we got wet without haven’t even gotten in the water. We went to another beach after that and I was called Baby Beach. We got there and I practically noticed why it was called Baby Beach, there was literally little kids everywhere and the water was not even deep. We still got in but it wasn’t so fun, well obviously the water went deeper but there was a rope that was to say that “the water drops when you pass this.” We had a barbecue later on that night, with the entire family and it was yummy. There is nothing better than home cooked family meals. We were all tired so we went back the hotel and it was time to lay our heads on the pillows. The next day we practically spent the entire day sightseeing again and later that night it was time to head off back to Arizona. It sucked that we had to leave but it had to happen that way. The trip back seemed like it took longer than coming to…

As the children are playing water polo they are attempting to dodge the massive waves coming to the shore. The sound of the waves is so relaxing however, knowing there are young children near the powerful waves makes me nervous and on the lookout for one of them not returning above the waves. I understand the fun in dodging the waves because that was something I lived for as a child but it can be very dangerous. The touch of the soft, white sand on my feet is a feeling I will never forget. Personally, I think it is better than the feeling of soft carpet on your feet. The smell of the ocean's salt water is not one of my favorites but I adapt to it after sitting on the beach for so long. I just sit there and take in all the beautiful scene around…

A mole is just another common mark on the body, which everyone has, so what’s the big deal, right? Well, some are just common markings, while others can be life threatening. My family learned this all too well back in February of 2014. It’s never a perfect visit to the dermatologist when you get a mole removed from your head, only to find out after testing that it was positive for melanoma. I remember a minor surgery was performed on the neck and two lymph nodes were removed to be tested. Great news everybody, they were found to be cancer free! Now, stop and think how many lymph nodes are in your body.…

My most cherished memory while in Florida was of course, the spectacular beach. Come on, who doesn't love a Florida beach? With this being my very first time ever in the ocean, it was absolutely breathtaking. The warm, salty air surrounding me. Ocean water glazing over my feet for the very first time. The warm, white sandy beach I dug my toes into. The hot sun beating down on my skin. Leaving me with a feeling of complete paradise. My senses were overwhelmed with happiness, oh what a memorable feeling!…

When I first stepped foot on the beach, I seen a massive red and white beach ball; spelling out Pensacola Beach. A flock of seagulls soared to shore to search for food. We enjoyed the atlantic ocean, the warm white sand, and the scorching hot sun. We could hear the huge waves crashing into the sandy shore. We could also hear the lively chatter of the people on the beach. The smell of the salty ocean and the banana boat sunscreen overtook the air with mass quantities of the two smells combined. The touch of the hot sand on your feet and the rough seashells on shore. The best part of the day was when me and my brother went kayaking for an hour out into the deep blue sea. It took fifteen long minutes to fight our way over the…

As I lay down on the sand, I can clearly see the blue sky filled with cotton balls that are alive, dancing and moving all around. I could see some changing shape from being the face of a young child to being a cute teddy bear or even a mighty dragon. As I close my eyes, I can feel the leaves on me by just listening to the way the breeze gently caressed them. The breeze itself embraced my body with such love that I feel I’m home. I can even hear the waves crashing up against the sharp jagged rocks of the coast line. The rhythmic timing of each wave brings to me a relaxing sensation and makes me to almost fall in a deep sleep. My most memorable place would have to be Panama City beach, FL. I found out about this hot and wild vacation spot while I was a high school student. From tenth grade to twelfth I was constantly hearing about spring break in Panama City. The best time during the school year to go was always on spring break because spring break was always a week long and around that time panama was always live. I was drawn to Panama City beach because after the spring break of the year was over students were constantly talking about what a good time they had, how nice the beach was, and how much fun and thick the parties were every night the break took place.…
