Maslow .
The turning point in the development of the concept of behavioral studies have been conducted in the Western Electric Company in Illinois . Their purpose was to analyze the influence of different factors working conditions, such as noise, lighting conditions and the performance of the workers.
The concept of behavioral undertakings brought a lot of new value to the theory and practice of management:
• expanded the understanding of the motivation unit , group behavior , interpersonal relationships and the importance of work for workers
• revealed the social context of work efficiency , in contrast to the classical theory , which treats it almost exclusively in technical terms ,
• led to revolutionize leadership styles and training managers
• developed such important aspects of management as leadership , conflict resolution , acquisition and use of power, communication, organization of work,
• managers have become more sensitive to the social aspects of management and more sophisticated in the use of management tools .
Behavioral approach developed almost in parallel with the recognition of managerial . An important representative of this approach was H. Simon , who tried to explain how businesses make decisions under conditions of uncertainty and risk. He found it impossible to then make decisions in a rational way . People are, therefore, limited ability to know the reality and can therefore be guided by only limited rationality
