I Have Been Truly Fascinated By Many Cultures In My Life
I have been truly fascinated by many cultures in my life. The one that truly calls out to me again, again is the southern culture, in Georgia to be specific. I feel as if I would be able to meld into their way of life easily. They seem to be more relaxed and happy on a daily basis. I've often thought that they live life more simply. I would be okay with simplifying my life to mimic there way of life. I would always prefer less of the drama and more of the sitting in the breeze with a tall glass of ice tea. I enjoy hearing stories and life experiences from the people of Georgia. I enjoy making food dishes from the south. I love traveling in the South the trees are different and the climate is pleasant more of year than it is here in Indiana. I would really like to live in Georgia one day. I could so get used to the warm sunny days with a porch swing and watching the world go by. I enjoy when you see all the beautiful architecture in the old buildings and the lush mountains.
I really like the histories that share ghost stories. That is so exciting and silly at the same time. I like to hear about that stuff, but I have no interest in connecting to ghosts’. I am not totally sure that I believe in ghosts but I do like the energy and excitement that the stories bring. I think it’s neat that a culture so rich in culture and alive would have that kind of attachment. I guess it would go alone with the black magic and voodoo.
A lot of people enjoy the party life so the Marti gras stuff may be their thing but I am more interested in the stories behind the party and scenery. I often wonder why they are so elaborate and the mystery behind the art of the masks and decorations along with the stories.
