I wonder if at one point there was one culture, like at the tower of babble, and it was a common thing to use rhythm and war songs and dances. Then after the tower of babble scrambled languages and the people scattered, they still kept some parts of their culture similar? I have heard of the Iroquois Quiver dance, and know that it’s also used as a prayer for rain, which is why it is nicknamed the rain dance. I used to dance like this for fun in school when they taught us about it. I also did not know that modern Native American music has been greatly influenced by other cultures and has adopted qualities to their own genres, such as the Folsom Prison Blues. Native American music definitely already has a calming, meditative quality. Blessingway music would make very beautiful, peaceful music. If I were going to share the gospel with Native Americans it would be best to know the most important parts of their culture. This shows that I respect and care enough to learn about them, and that I am willing to be open
