Goal Summary
Goal is an english series of 13 episodes. The story begins with a young Italian football player by the name Manni. When he arrives at the airport he gets picked up by a woman who works at the hotel he will be staying at. Her name is Emma and as the time goes he falls in love with her. The problem is that she already has a boyfriend, Paul Carter. Paul plays i the same team as Manni and doesn't like that Manni is being with Emma. The situation becomes worse when Manni reveals that he also is in a relationship.
Manni's dream of becoming a professional footballplayer comes true when when he is accepted in the team. Sophie, the fitness and diet manager, and Joe, a football player who plays in the same team as Mani, helps helps Mani on his way of becoming a better football player.
Soon Paul hurts his ankle and can't play anymore, even if he badly wants to play, and Manni takes his place. Paul gets angry when he realises that Manni and his girlfriend are in love and desperately tries to marry her just so she will be his forever. Emma denies the proposal and breaks up with him. Some time later, Mani also breaks up with his girlfriend when he realises how bad she treated him. When This gets Paul even more jealous of Manni and makes him do things like hiring a person to break into his apartment and destroy his things. He successfully spikes Manni's drug test and nearly ends his dreams of playing in the World Cup, when Sophie looks through the security recording which proves that Manni was innocent and Paul and his companion ware the guilty ones.
The series ends happily. Manni takes Paul's position, gets an invitation to play in the World Cup, and lives with
