8. Some Issues in Contemporary times:
i. Racism ii. Gender and Gender Violence iii. Terrorism iv. Same Sex Marriage
v. Economic Recession vi. Conflict vii. Underdeveloped Nations and Poverty viii. Sports Diplomacy
The paper will be taught every weekend with at least one hour for lectures and another one hour to discuss the topic.
At the end of the Semester, student will be advised to submit a term-paper which focuses on any aspect of the course outline, however, the students must have presented a seminal on the topic
This best seminal paper is then jointly discussed with the other students as to learn how to write theirs in subsequent and in the future.
The means of getting the best seminal is based on the critic by the presenter's peer.
PRINCIPLES OF PUBLIC RELATIONS
SYNOPSIS
Over the years, professionals have moved into public relations practice and they have tried to put it right in the right perspective. Yet definitions become voluminous depending on the individual or organization as well as their functions and their environments. However, Dr. Rex Harlow carried out a research on PR definition, he examined 472 different definitions. Aware that this would be tedious for students and practitioners, he framed the following definition out of the lot:
