I believe this one could actually be from either nature, nurture and interaction. I feel like more background information is necessary for a proper answer. Nurture seems to be the “logical” choice for me, because I don’t feel like a child would act like this unless allowed to, or shown by example.

Amelia receives high marks in math. Amelia’s mother is surprised because she never did well in math.

Amelia by nature may have a predisposition to have the analytical skills necessary for math. She may have had more interation with the subject to leave her open minding to tapping into this skill.
