Executive Summary
This report will be to present research done on online Marketing opportunities for retail sales. It will not only allow a better understanding of how to market a product successfully but show the advantages and disadvantages of marketing online. The impact of sales to a company from marketing online can be substantial and should be something a company puts real thought into.

Advantage of Online Marketing

There are many different ways of marketing online. When a company decides what method they will take they have to weigh whether it will really benefit the company and if that method is appropriate for the product that they are trying to sell. Marketing online has a lot of different benefits associated with it. Those advantages include being able to reach a greater number of customers, being open 24/7, low marketing cost, and being able to measure the statistics of customers. Knowing all of these advantages allows a company to grow and profit.

Disadvantage of Online Marketing

To ever upside there is a downside. There are disadvantages to consider when deciding to market retail online. Those disadvantages include cost, the amount of people shopping online, website navigation, reluctance to release personal information, and the need for comparison shopping. Their current site, www.spicekingrenton.com, could use some work to increase their web imprint and bring more business to the company.
