Jeremy Rifkin 's article, “A Change of Heart About Animals” argues that animals are more like humans than we imagine and as a result should be treated with the care that they deserve. Rifkin develops and supports his argument using facts about the animals and these facts end up touching hearts. In order for Rifkin to get his point across he uses a smart technique by using pathos and plays with the emotions of his audience. Rifkin loves animals and his passion and love evokes emotions that the audience can feel. Animals can feel and have emotions similar to ours. in agreement with Rifkin, I argue that it is wrong and inhumane to kill or abuse animals because they feel, they deserve to have space and should be valued as much as humans are It is wrong no animal should be killed due to abuse or testing, it is wrong and inhumane.…
The passage in which K. discusses his arrest with the guards is very important to understanding what the Law means in the context of Kafka’s The Trial. When analyzing the passage in question, one must understand from K’s point of view that he is very distressed at this moment about the lack of knowledge that the guards possess regarding the Law. The fact that they work for the courts yet know so little about it is an intriguing point to be considered.…

Did you ever wonder what an animal has to say? Only if we could communicate with animals and hear all the abuse it goes through maybe our thoughts would reflect on Animal Neglect. Animal neglect is cruel; not only does it harm innocent animals in captivity but also, it's denies animals to live life fully.…
“Non-violence leads to the highest ethics, which is the goal of all evolution. Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages.” This quote about animal abuse is from Thomas Edison, an engineer known for his life changing innovations that continue to impact on our world today. Animal abuse is a long-debated problem, often causing the world’s population to split into two sides over the dispute. On one side, are those who say that humans are far superior to animals and other living beings who have been put here solely to feed or entertain us. On the other hand, there are those of us who recognise that these “inferior life forms” should have the same rights as us, and so they deserve the same treatment.…

Yes we need to test our drugs and surgical stuff on something so that humans do not have to suffer but the way that they are killed is inhumane and wrong. Pigs have done nothing to deserve to die and suffer for our own selfish needs. I believe it is inhumane to kill them and use them the way that we do and we should find another way to test on them. Even though we need to test on something to help us. I think there should be another way to make this happen rather than kill them and watch them…
I am so sick of hearing cases on the news, like "Man from Atlanta is facing penalties in Georgia in which a puppy was cooked in an oven" or "Brothers in Atlanta are being charged for putting a puppy in a gas range and turning the gas on." Animal cruelty is one of the most common types of violence in the United States. It is not as accustomed to hear such heartbreaking cases as these. Some of the most common forms of animal cruelty are: Animal testing and experimentation in laboratories, lack of owners care and attention, and using animals as a way of entertainment. Now, lets take a closer look at these three forms of animal cruelty.…
Because animal cruelty has had such a negative impact policy makers have decided to act in favor of protecting our animals. The Animal Welfare Act (AWA), enacted in 1966, protects animal lives as it argues that they are equally as important as humans. The AWA grants the animal the right to positive quality of life while being used for research purposes. The notion of animal rights is “the idea that some, or all, non-human animals are entitled to the possession of their own lives and that their most basic interests—such as the need to avoid suffering—should be afforded the same consideration as similar interests of human beings” (“Animal rights”). As humans, there are certain laws and securities we are afforded to protect us from harm and experimentation.…
Animal cruelty is like a disease, it just can’t stop. This is why animal cruelty needs to stop. Just imagine your eyes being blinded, your skin being burnt off of your bones, your hair being ripped off your legs or your arms being torn apart. These animals have no say in what they want. Even though they can’t speak it’s obvious as to what they’d…

Across the globe, animals of all varieties are being exploited for their flesh, fur and produce. How would you feel if your pets were subjected to such cruelty? Animals are poisoned, stabbed and crammed in cages to be tested on; medical research, educational purposes, drug and chemicals, and cosmetics and household products are some of the main reasons why they are put through such torture. Even though there may be some ‘valid’ reasons for conducting and carrying out such inhumane activities, too many people stand behind large companies and support their ‘valid’ reasons for doing so without having full awareness of what pain and suffering the animals are subjected to during the testing process.…
The treatment of animals is all around us, we can watch television and we see it, it is in newspapers, on our computers as we browse, and we can even see bulletins as we walk down the street. Many different chains that are involved in animal cruelty are unknown to others, we can all start to wonder after some research has come before us to read. Then you can think about what you have bit into (literally) and swallowed.…
Have you ever used an Advil or a Tylenol because you were either sick or had a headache? A corporation developed that medicine using animal experimentation. Almost all governments have required animal testing on drugs and products for many years and there has been opposition against it from the beginning. While many people say it is wrong and there are many groups dedicated to stopping this type of testing, I believe that animal testing is a good thing and serves the greater interests of society. While I know a lot of you probably are ready to tune me out, but before you do I’m asking you to simply hear me out; I’m not telling you that you have to endorse animal testing.…
Animals are beaten, neglected and forced to live out their days with no hope of survival. Animals feel so much pain when they are being abused by their owners; it’s disgusting to think a person would abuse a poor innocent animal, when it’s done nothing wrong.…
