The first person I interviewed was my friend’s grandmother. Although I have not met her, I have heard many things about her. She is 85 years old and has a good perspective on life.
The second person I interviewed was my friend’s daughter. I know her very well. We have spent a great deal of time together.
Interview with Mrs. Sally Watson
Question: What is your definition of happiness?
Response: Being happy means my family is doing well and I have my health and strength.
Question: Has your definition of happiness changed over time?
Response: I used to think happiness was a bunch of stuff but as I got older happiness was being with my kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
Question: What experiences have influenced your definition of happiness?
Response: As you get older, you see a lot of people dying. It makes you see death is closer for you. So, you tend to let a lot of bad thoughts and actions go and try to focus on doing right and living good.
Question: Do you expect your definition of happiness to change again?
Response: No, I think at my age I am set in stone with what makes me happy. Question: In general, do you consider yourself to be a happy person?
Response: Yes, although I do get mad from time to time and have to speak my mind about things. I see myself as me of a positive thinker. I do not try to change people's minds. I just work on keeping myself straight.

Response: Being with my family and friends, shopping, and having fun Question: Has your definition of happiness changed over time? Response: Yes, it used be baby stuff but now I am a preteen it has definitely changed. Question: What experiences have influenced your definition of happiness? Response: Spending time with my mommy,
