“Pet Peeve”
“Pet Peeve”

Every day people encounter many weird and disturbing things. For instance, I hate when people don’t wash their hands after they use the bathroom or even spiting outside right in front of you. There is one thing that really gets me. It’s when people don’t flush the toilet. Really, what’s so difficult about flushing the toilets?! You have already done the hard part!! Just by flushing you can save someone from vomiting or fainting. One time I walked in the restroom and I was confronted with a horrible odor. This scent made me feel like I was in a sewer; this made me want to run. So I put my shirt on my face to cover up the smell. I pushed the stall right open, and came face to face with poop all over the toilet. I turned around and darted out hitting my foot on the door, and then I limped my way to report this to the mall janitor. That day was the worst. I couldn’t believe what I saw, I was scar for life. One amazing way to prevent this from happening is have someone in charge of staying in the bathroom, some expensive hotels have this. This person will avoid having people leave things in the stalls. Another way is having sensor toilets, so as soon as they move away it flushes. This will make life much easier for you and every one. Now if you see this crime just cover your face and flush what lazy people leave. If you are one of those criminals keep in mind if you were the suspect, how would you feel? Think of how you will feel if you encountered this act? Thank for all the people that actually flush, please

In this paragraph, Beck delineates that although bathroom anxiety is a condition that many people suffer through, it is also a common social insecurity that many others feel because they consider entering a public bathroom an unwilling relinquish of privacy. I personally related to the behaviors that Beck listed as I myself perform them when in a public restroom, such as “leaving space at urinals.” It is especially interesting to me that these behaviors have become ubiquitous throughout modern society because of our own personal prejudices for associating urination and excretion with filth and degradation. These behaviors cannot conceal the fact that urination and excretion are necessary to maintain good health and are imperative to survival.…

Littering must be stopped. The rebirth of littering awareness- effective phrase would be based on many of the same, well known concepts, but revitalize with more detail. People need to grasp the real statistics of how littering affects us. Unfortunately, not many people really care about this "small" crime. With the birth of Earth Day during the 1970’s, littering was finally being seen as a problem. However, like most fads, the wave of environmental awareness ended along with people's…
