Besides, mangoes are grown significantly in the Upazila of Shibgonj, Gomostapur, Chapai Nawabgonj Sadar and Bholahat. The study was based on field survey covering 2 mouzas (Baghdurgapur and Uttar Bhabanipur) from Kansat and Shyampur union of Shibgonj upazila of Chapai Nawabgon Districtj. The study area was selected purposively and the respondents of this research work were selected randomly. The major focuses was on to mention the economics of mango production and examine the financial feasibility besides determining corrective measures to bring about desired improvement in production of mango. Both Baghdurgapur and Uttar Bhabanipur mozas were selected as study area because of its relatively higher growth in area production and productivity of mango. The study reviled that the area was found to be having positive growth rate in area production and productivity. Besides the investment in Mango orchard was found to be financially feasible. Non-availability of good saplings, high transport cost, high commission charges, unstable price and lack of processing plants were the major problem found in the study area. Mango has good commercially potential and the area under this crop is significantly increasing in the study area, hence Government should take plan for establishing new processing units and arrange marketing set up in the region to safeguard the interest of mango farmers and processors. Besides Adoption of recommended cultivation practices, provision of adequate credit would help in expanding the area and also in increasing the productivity of Mango.
