The song choice for this band seems very appropriate for the level of players in the ensemble. I also enjoyed the Christmas medley that they played with the concert being close to Christmas. They were able to switch between staccato and legato seamlessly

The concert was labeled on youtube as a Bangladesh concert. The musical artists played Indian music‚ and there didn’t seem to be a composer. Every one just seemed to know how to play together. By being an active listener I learned that different cultures sometimes have very different musical styles. Most musical styles touch on all elements of SHMRGO. It was really neat to see how differently Indian music is put together. It’s obvious that they’re extremely talented musicians because they have to

Concert Review 3 The concert review I am writing about is An American In Paris. An American In Paris was composed by George Gershwin in 1928. This specific performance that we watched in class was performed by Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. This performance was very long and had many different parts to it. Amazingly this performance only have 1 movement‚ but a lot of sections. There were also many different textures.
