Because of this isolation japan’s economy wasn't that affected.due to the peace,they did not have to worry about missionaries coming in their land and trying to convert the japanese to christian’s the isolation mostly is had a positive influence on japan's economy and also had a slight negative influence

Since their positions in the feudal system could change, the japanese shogun felt that the feudal system should only consist of foreign traders and christians to keep peace After the Edo Period, the feudal system went under and lower ranks spread and grew really fast Due to the isolation The emperor put the shogun in charge to make sure the towns people were following the rules especially the farmers which had a bad habit of taking extra rice for their family to survive which the shogun did not like.
