The children are playing with each other and there has been a lot more group play amongst the children. The children are sorting out their differences by discussing with each other how they can resolve any issues. The children are also discussing and problem-solving during their play working out how the magnetics stick together and what puzzle peace goes where. Educators have also been focusing on feelings encouraging the children to tell their friends and educators how they feel, and express their feelings by telling the other children their feelings, such as “stop, I do not like you hitting/pushing me”. Educators also have been introducing the books on feelings with the children.
