In the novel 1984 by George Orwell, the government of Big Brother thinks he can control everyone and all their beliefs. Mass media plays a huge role because it is the most powerful tool to manipulate people. Big Brother is a symbol of dictators across the globe. Big Brother wants people to do things the way he wants and if it is not his way then it is not any other way. He is the invention of the party which tries to control people's feelings of reverence and fear. The government is controlled by one person, every decision, and every aspect is ruled by Big Brother and his beliefs. It is not right for citizens to be prevented from believing in god or any scientific beliefs that they have, they should be allowed and free to believe what they want without government getting in between.
