At any time, hurtful information can be spread and used to influence personal relations, enforcing social constrictions on self expression and ultimately reinforcing social isolation. In other words, "they're in a cauldron of stimulus they can't get away from, or don't want to get away from, or don't know how to get away from."(Schrobsdorff) There is no break in the never ending flow of the world's problems on top of maintaining a virtual presence with bullying from peers. This generation's problems persist even when alone, as constant notifications make it impossible for teens to ever relax. The alarming rise in teen suicides verify the influence of technology has harmful effects to the majority of the population.
