1. Why do you think early humans created art? Were the reasons for creating art different from or similar to reasons for creating art today?
I think early humans created art to leave a mark so it could be found. I think art from today is different from art in prehistoric art.
2. Why is so little known about prehistoric art? Discuss some of the challenges in learning more about these pieces.
It’s so little known about prehistoric art because they don’t know so much about it. A challenge is finding out who made the art and when it was made.
3. What were some of the challenges that prehistoric people faced when creating megalith monuments?
Some challenges that prehistoric people faced while creating megalith monuments is trying to keep themselves
safe so it won’t fall on them.

Newgrange created in Ireland around 3200 BCE. Newgrange is made of a large circular mound of earth, with passageways and chambers made of stone.
