40 High School Diploma Research Paper

Currently I am on the Indiana Core 40 high school diploma. I think that I chose this diploma track for myself because I don't really plan a whole lot on going to college. I have had thoughts of going to college and getting a degree in something. Personally I would much rather just go to a trade school and learn what I want to do rather than going to college and having to learn stuff that is oblivious to the career that I pick.
I think that for a career I would either like to farm or become an agricultural engineer or something in the agricultural field for sure. I really enjoy farming and would like to make a career out of it if at all possible. In order to farm you don't really need to have any special kind of degree. You can go to college and get a degree but it really won't help you that much. That's why I have chosen a Core 40 degree because if I decide that I want to college after all I will be eligible.
Do to the selection of classes that I have taken so far I am still eligible to graduate with the Core 40 Academic Honors diploma. I do not see me switching diploma tracks but it could happen. I think that the information that we have been learning in class is very valuable. I think that it is because it helps me better understand stuff about my GPA. It also helps me better understand what colleges look at when they're looking at accepting you when you apply. Knowing these things it helps me know what I need to do in high school to be able to go to college or just be successful in getting a job after I graduate from high
