4d Reflection
Highlights of feedback from clarity 4D- My results were introverted (Green energy), which states that I exhibition traits that are seen as friendly, I also exhibit a sincere and friendly nature and can be seen as loyal and supportive to my close friends and family. Introverts also like to create a harmonious atmosphere and prefer consensus to confrontation which can sometimes make them seem too laid back and indecisive. I agree with the results as I do tend to see myself as a laid back individual and sometimes display indecisive traits in my everyday decision making. I find it extremely difficult to express my inner feelings and thoughts as I tend to not want to upset anyone and tend to be perceived as a people pleaser. This in the long term can be a barrier as it shows I …show more content…
This is another statement I can relate to as I do tend to go the extra mile for my loved ones and people I have a trusting relationship with, be it colleagues I work with or distant family members I interact with. I have been told many times to be more aware of my persona and traits as it does make me come across very naive. This is something I find difficult to change because it is my nature and characteristic but going forward into the business world I understand I will have to sometimes adapt my nature and feelings to certain situations. Likewise expressed in my outcomes were that I don't care to be marked by other individuals and I am searching for self – understanding, and that I indicate solid reliability to my colleagues. I halfway concur with this bit of my outcomes. On numerous events, I unquestionably have not taken well to individuals marking or judging my character in an obtuse way. In any case, concerning self-comprehension, I differ to looking for this as much as I tend to need acceptance from others more from past

I must say that I do agree with the results of the test, but there are some aspects of it that I feel to be untrue. In general, I have to always stay busy and involved with various activities. I like being around people, leading, teaching and stimulating others into positive performances. I also like to act on things as opposed to just talking about it. Other people view me as having an outgoing personality. I also am able to relate to and have friends from all walks of life. On the other hand, I am one who does have to think things through, plan ahead, and am very structured (with things in order). I think that I am more a Sensing personality than a Intuitive one. I am more practical and a more hands on individual. Meaning, I often use and trust my experience before words and symbols. (Humanetrics.com, 1998-2011)…

The four spectrums are very accurate because it is something I have been very aware of prior to this assignment. “Introverts are tuned in to their inner world with all its biases, fantasies, dreams, and individualized perceptions”, (Feist, 2009, p.116). Which then explains why I prefer feeling over thinking. “Introverted feeling people base their value judgments primarily on subjective perceptions rather than objective facts”, (Feist, 2009, p.119). I struggled with my sexuality because of my upbringing which resulted in me dating many different men. However, once I realized that it was perfectly fine to “go against the grain” by ignoring traditional opinions and beliefs, I was able to find a woman who fulfilled my every desire mentally, physically and emotionally. The highest preference of 78% was judging over perceiving. My…

Reflection allows an individual to identify the reasons or purpose of understanding the outcome of a particular situation in depth in term of emotions on thought and feeling on the topic area. In addition, Reflection is something that we do implicitly as part of being human, underpinning our identities through a process of negotiation between our sense of self and our experiences of others (Demetriou, 2000, p.210). Therefore, I have implemented this quote in my professional and personal goals I wanted and have achieved thought-out the process of the module. I have made continues effort in building my confidence in situations that I have felt uncomfortable in.…

    4. The result of the assessment has given me the understanding of where I tend to draw my energy from, being introverted I tend to draw energy from my experiences and myself. The biggest factor, for me, in understanding whether I am extroverted or introverted is to have the ability to make adjustment to enable me to become a better leader. I see that I need to be engage more sociably to ensure that I do not project a standoffish attitude toward others. Since my score was an eighteen, I do show some social traits but tend to prefer to be and work alone. This can give others the impression that I am unapproachable and therefore would not lend itself to being a good leader that projects that they are open to all discussions whether it would be positive or negative. I can develop a plan to become more open and engage with others. I have already started this process as I have developed a daily walk around the shop floor engaging others during my walk. This process has given me the opportunity to understand others…

The dyad session experience over the past 6 weeks has been an effective exercise in learning to apply social work skills and theories. I have found great value in self-reflection as well as constructive feedback from my partner. Over the course of the dyad sessions I feel I have made progress and evolved to become a better social worker then I started the class as. Another helpful aspect of the dyads is that they are being performed concurrently to the practicum. At my practicum I have the opportunity to learn and practice counseling skills on an individual and group level. Practicing counseling and receiving feedback through the classroom experience has helped me grow and evolve as a social worker at my practicum placement as well. Critical thinking and analysis using the self-evaluation have helped me become more aware of my skill strengths as well as the areas that need further development.…

My personality type is an Introverted Sensing Feeling Perceiving (ISFP), which means I am introverted feeling with extraverted sensing. As an ISFP, I tend to be quiet, reserved and more often than not keep my feelings to myself. Due to my personality type, one of my biggest weaknesses is that I am non-confrontational to a fault and would much rather accomplish a mission with everyone originally agreeing and being on the same page rather than have to possibly put someone on the spot for being difficult to work with. I am going to use the fact that I took the personality test to my advantage and to the advantage of the organization I work for. I will do this by understanding that not everyone has the same personality type and realizing that…

Before transferring to Georgian Court University, I had already attended two other colleges. I lived in a dorm my freshmen year at Ramapo and decided that was not for me. After leaving Ramapo, I decided to take a few semesters at Brookdale Community College in order to fulfill some requirements while deciding where exactly was the right place for myself to continue with my education. After searching through many brochures and getting first hand details about schools from people I am acquainted with, I was overcome with joy when I found Georgian Court. Since I am double majoring in both English and Education, it is hard to find schools that offer the two as a pair as well as offer the special endorsement for teaching students with disabilities. Georgian Court is also one of the top teaching schools, with a very high rate of job placement after graduation, which was another thing that captivated me. The economy is very unpredictable at this point in time and it is only plausible to choose the very best school to go to that is well known for the extraordinary practices in the field of study you want to pursue. Here at Georgian Court I have found everything I have been looking for.…

My senior project was on shadowing Dr. Douglas Smith, he is an optometrist at the Bison Vision Center. I would watch him perform on his patients, while at the same time I was taking notes of every move he made while treating the patients. The shadowing was divided between 3 different sections, the first section was him doing paperwork, the paperwork was mostly government based. Secondly, it was fitting the glasses to the patient so they glasses would not slide of the person face. Lastly, it was the actual check up to the patient to see if they would need glasses, this would require 30 minutes of precise work and asking questions to best fit the patient needs.…
