I tend to be introverted, but it is not always the case. I am not comfortable in a large group of people I do not know and will far more often than not resort to being an introvert. This changes for me though if I am in group of family members or friends. I tend to depend much more on experience than I do just listening to the directions of others and trying to figure something out on my own. Paying attention to physical reality, what I see, hear, touch, taste, and smell. I'm concerned with what is actual, present, current, and real. I notice facts and I remember details that are important to me. I like to see the practical use of things and learn best when I see how to use what I'm learning. Experience speaks to me louder than words (Martin, 1997, para. 4).
