In American History we are currently studying the concept of sectionalism. Sectionalism is division within a country based in regional beliefs and interests. In the early to mid 1800’s sectionalism in america grew as slavery divided the nation. Slavery was ignored, comprised, and argued about by the states until the conflict drove our country into the Civil War. Although regional differences are not as distant these days, many issues are currently causing division among the states and people of our country. These issues lead to what our history class describes as “modern sections.” One such issue is the 7 habits.
I believe that kids from 8th on to high school should not learn about the seven habits, they should learn some from it; just not all when we are in 7th and 6th grade we should learn about it. We are going to be in the real world soon and that we know what's wrong and right I …show more content…
I believe that we should not have it after 8th grade like really come on. I think that we have had enough of this stuff. In my homeroom class we don’t do them much because he thinks they are stupid and we know better than what they are saying in the book. We have books that we have to learn about. Lots of kids don’t like doing them because they have no impact on our life. We have impact on our lives we make our own dissections. We control our own life’s not the book or the people that made them. This school would have more money if they didn’t spend money on those books. We wouldn’t have to pay $5 for our dances that we have. The prices of drinks and foods at our dances would not be that much if the books were not here. They could start thinking about stuff that we don’t need like the books and save the school money because they are always complaining on how much money they have when they don’t have
