Everyone knows about the attacks that occurred on September 11th, 2001 that scarred our nation. Many people lost family members, friends, and co-workers during these horrific attacks. The terrorist attacks took place in at the World Trade Center in New York City, at the Pentagon building in Washington, D.C., and in a plane crash near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The nation suffered a great loss on September 11th, 2001. After these life-taking terrorist attacks memorials were built for the families, and friends who lost someone on 09/11/01 and for America to remember and honor all those who died that day during the devastating attacks .
