The chart below left reflects approximately 930 MAP evaluations that have not been completed for the 6/30/2015 closeout. The report was generated last week at ADOA so the numbers could have changed some.
Attached are individual spreadsheets for each major element of Offender Operations. Spreadsheets list the employee and supervisor names and next steps that the supervisor should take to move the MAP forward. All steps should be taken until each MAP is completed and in the “History” tab in MAP.
Wardens/ESAs have been sent periodic MAP reports during the past few months and some MAPs have been closed, but we still have 930 open. I request your assistance in ensuring these get closed out. As you know, MAP scores are important and are required for merit increases, promotions, salary adjustments, etc. We are halfway through the new evaluation period and soon ADOA will run reports that will tell us if MAPs for the current cycle have been opened and acknowledged by the employee. …show more content…
Under “Next Steps” on the spreadsheets, it appears that many of the MAPs can be closed out by the employee properly acknowledging the MAP in their in basket. However, in many instances, the supervisor did not open a MAP. Most of the time this is attributed to a situation where a COTA cadet is promoted to CO II and a MAP is not auto generated for the supervisor and he/she must create one. We have a request at ADOA asking that MAPs in the future be auto generated for CO IIs upon assignment to a complex. However, we do not know if or when that will
