A Career As A FFA Officer
FFA is something that I love. I have been in a leadership position for the last three years as a class officer, Washington County Junior Livestock Association officer and FFA officer. I believe my purpose in life is to serve others. Leaders must serve the needs of others rather than their own desires. One reason I wish to run for district office is to serve the FFA and its members. Agriculture is the backbone of our country. FFA and Agricutlure offer the opportunity to serve others. In every thing I do I make sure that the job is done correctly amd thoroughly. If you choose me to hold an officer position I promise I will not let you down. You may ask,"Why choose you over someone else?" I will work to the best of my ability and do all
I can to help our South District. As a child, I looked forward to the day I could become a FFA member. I grew up in a family involved in both Agriculture and the FFA, with several cousins serving as either District or State officers. I viewed them with awe and dreamed of the day I could wear the the national blue and corn gold and serve as the FFA. I have grown up on a cattle and poultry farm and learned the lessons of responsibility, hard work and perseverance. My grandmother, has always taught me that no matter the task at hand to do your best and take pride in doing a job well.
