the war than anyone could tell me, as I discovered the advancements of technology, the tactics of generals, major battles that took places, and more importantly the ideals of the time. Additionally, alongside with my interests of learning, my parents would often take mini-vacations to places of historical importance that were not far from my hometown. Starting with the sites of Gettysburg, I was able to stand in the shoes of both Union and Confederate troops of the time, as questions would soon wander into my mind as what were these people like? What was going on in their heads when Confederate General Robert E. Lee marched them towards the city of Gettysburg? Those questions are what have made me desire to pursuit my studies further into history. I always felt the need to help others, as the reason in my pursuit of an education certification, as I wish to spread the joy of learning to the next generation of Americans. Additionally, along with spread the joy of learning, I wish to aid my future students in overcome obstacles that prohibit their learning experience, similarly to the educators that had pushed and supported me along my journey through public education. Overall, I feel my pursuit in my current education track is not only to support myself when the time comes to leave the halls of Ramapo College, but to support those that I come in contact with in the future.
