A Critical Review Of Paul Hill's Burntcoat Sea
Paul Hill is a geological oceanographer, this means that he studies the way that fine sediments move throughout the coastal ocean. He likes studying this field because it is relevant to our current lives, he also likes the international aspect that ocean studies provide. He is able to travel while studying the ocean, this gives him the ability to connect with other ocean scientists from around the globe.
I really enjoyed this lecture and I found that the topic was relevant to my life. Growing up my parents took me to visit places like Burntcoat beach. Which Hill stated was home to the highest tides in the Minus Basin. My question was that if burntcoat beach has the highest tides wouldn’t it also have strong currents, meaning that there should
