A Culturally Pluralistic Society

I think the United States is a culturally pluralistic society. Cultural Pluralism is when groups within society maintain their culture and their value is accepted by a bigger culture. If you think about it, there are many different cultures that are being accepted in the U.S. Initially, everyone is raised to have mutual respect for others. It’s common for people to be raised to treat others in a certain way. I think if there was no mutual respect what so ever that would be a problem and the world would not be culturally pluralistic.
