For example, when I was in middle school when it was time to take my spelling test I was not doing very well on the test and my teacher noticed. She talked to me one day after class and asked what she can do to help me succeed and I told how I learn better. In the end I started taking my spelling outside the classroom with another teacher and instead of writing the words I would spell the words out loud and the teacher would write them down on the paper. I did not have a 504 plan but the teacher made a modification to my spelling test and I will do that same thing to my future students.
