The way a person is raised influences the way they view the world and others. As a young child they learn right from wrong, so they have different rules and guidelines which can show them that just because the morals their parents instilled in them can be different than what another set of parents instill in their child. “It is specially designed to provide the child with the kind of knowledge and experience he will need in order to survive in his culture and environment.” (An Indian Father’s Plea). Native Americans raise their children in a different way than most modern families. So although the child might not know the ways of ‘normal’ life doesn’t make them any less educated. This however is wrong because the culture itself is what really changes how they feel about a certain topic. For example, if a person comes from Mexico than they will always be Mexican no matter what. They can’t perceive that part of their cultural identity anyway else.
