I constantly find myself asking God in prayer what He wants of me. I ask “What sacrifice can I make?”, “What can I offer you God?” and “How can I repay you for all you have given me?” Being human, I feel it is instinct to ask what personal sacrifice I can offer as a form of payment to God. This is instinct to me personally because in the real world, this is how I pay people, whether it be through the form of money or other physical items. God is different, God is divine and does not ask for physical items of sacrifice. Instead he asked for something that is more meaningful. He asks us to find it within ourselves to act justly, kindly, humbly and spiritually. He wants us to show love to all of His creation, to forgive those who have wronged us, live with the knowledge of right and wrong and to depend on Him.
