Title: Pro-Life
Topic: Abortion
Specific purpose: Making people realize how wrong is to kill an innocent child.
Thesis statement: Life is a gift from God and abortion a punishment to an innocent child.
Introduction: There’s no better thing in life than the power of giving it to someone and there’s no such horrible thing as taking someone life. Babies are alive since the day they are conceive, so are you willing to be a killer? As Dr. Seuss said “A person’s is a person, no matter how small”. Today I’m here to defend abortion; I’m going to talk about life, society and adoption.
Transition: Life is a gift from God, we may not plan it, but he does.
1. Life begins since at conception, abortion is like murder as it is the act of taking human life. Abortion is in direct challenge of the commonly accepted idea of the sacredness of human life. a. No civilized society permits one human to intentionally harm or take the life of another human without punishment, and abortion is no difference. b. One woman dies every 7 minutes around the world due to an unsafe illegal abortion. Women who undergo illegal abortions and prevention of unwanted pregnancies.
Transition: As a society that we are, we pay taxes to have a better place to live. The government needs to respect everyone’s money.
2. Many Americans who pay taxes are opposed to abortion, therefore its morally wrong to use tax dollars to fund abortion. c. Abortion frequently causes intense psychological pain and stress. It often leads to unwanted memories, which can result into great stress and depression. Some women experience a feeling of guilt, which lasts for their whole lifetime. In short, abortion can turn out to be a lifetime worth of burden. d. For women who demand complete control of their body, control should include preventing the risk of unwanted pregnancy through the responsible use of contraception or, it that is not possible, through
