3 Idiots, in spite of being a comedy, it also carries a message about humanity and the rat race. This shows that the message in this particular movie has been the pull factor that attracts the audience to watch this movie. There are lots of positive messages contain in this movie that we can point out and relate with our reality life.
The objective of this report is to analyze between chapter three that is perception and learning in organization; and chapter four that is workplace emotions, attitude and stress towards the 3 Idiots movie. The perception and learning in organization will involve social identity theory, attribution process, attribution errors, self-fulfilling prophecy, learning behaviour consequences, and knowledge sharing. Meanwhile for workplace emotions, attitude and stress will involve emotions, attitude and emotional intelligence.
The first element that relates the chapter three with the movie is social identity theory that explains the dynamics of social perception on how we perceive others. The second element is attribution process is an attempt to explain and to determine the cause of an event or behaviour. The third element would be attribution errors which describe the tendency to overestimate the effect of disposition or personality and underestimate the effect of the situation in explaining social behaviour. The other element is self-fulfilling prophecy is a cultural belief that become true because people act as though it is true.
