INTRODUCTION
As a person gets older, he or she is applying different skin beauty products. Some of those skin products, when overused or if exposed on too much heat may have bad effects on your skin. It may damage your skin or worst it may lead to different skin diseases. Although there are lots of creams, ointments and other substances invented nowadays to heal skin diseases, they costs a lot and are only affordable to some people who have money but for those who does not have, they just let their skin diseases get worst. The rate of those people who are having skin diseases are now fast increasing and if worse comes to worst, it may lead to a higher form of skin diseases such as skin cancer. As a saying goes “prevention is better than cure”, so those people who have skin problems think of a remedy for their skin problems and consider the benefits of that medicine and also its cost.
The Philippines is facing economic crisis at present. People living in remote areas have found it difficult to buy medicines or ointments for their treatments. Traditionally, they usually resort to nature in the form of plants and trees around them that can be use as a medicine which they found to be effective in many cases.
The use of different plants and trees for medicinal purposes has been the most common option in curing diseases, owing its abundance in our country. Although modern medicines are predominantly composed of synthetic drugs that were developed scientifically, still
