A member of staff at a nursery called busy bee nursery found out that one of the children she was teaching had bruises, she noticed that they were not ordinary bruises which they would get at their age. Also they were in areas which were strange like his stomach, underarms and on his back. The staff members were worried for his safety because they were not caused by accident like the child bumping into a hard object or tripping up.

The response would be that they would first need to minimise the risk this meaning that the stuff would need to of had made sure that they checked the building to make sure that no child is left behind. Before the staff starts the job they would need of had gone through training where they would know what action to take and how to get the children out safely and as fast as possible. Staff are also taught fire aid to help the child whilst the ambulance come, so when the little boy inhaled too much smoke he would need to be checked to see that there's no toxic in his system which he could of inhaled and that his breathing is fine; because the boy fell down a couple steps they would need to tap his whole body to make sure that there are no broken bones and see his sprained ankle to see if it damaged more. The staff would need to make sure that the boy has his sprained ankle taken care of immediately when left the building and to make sure that his health is good. When the fire is first detected that's when the children should drop everything and leave before the smoke starts to take over the whole building. With children you can never be too sure if they are fine so the staff would need to provide an ambulance to check over all the children just to be on the safe side.
