The Age of Reason was a time period that ranged from about 1685 to 1815. During this time European politics, philosophies, and sciences were all changed. This was a new beginning for many. For people back then they had to have a lot of courage to start thinking in new ways and break away from how people thought they should be thinking. On the other hand in today's world so many things have changed from the way people act to how they think and decide things. This word has been put to use as a specialised term in different disciplines and in business operations.". Today's world is rapidly changing and this is one of the main reasons you have to be able to adapt to all the changes happening around you whether it involves work or your personal life. Adaptability is an important trait to have to be able to live in today society. Although these two guiding principles courage and adaptability seem as if they wouldn't have many similarities they do in order to be able to adapt to something you need courage to do so they all connect in different ways. They do also have differences as well. Adaptability is more of a trait than courage. Courage is something you can acquire inside if you really want to do something but can't because you are too afraid to courage will help you do that. Whereas adaptability is something that either comes naturally or you learn to adapt to situations. In the end these two guiding principles play a role in the time periods they are for.
