Once an individual becomes homeless, they must choose whether to adapt to their current situation however past experience and life traumas can have a significant effect and in most cases the people that easily adapt to their new situation are more likely to remain homeless and Individuals who had traumatic childhood experiences are more able to adapt easily as they will not see it as any more frightening than the situation that they have escaped from, also when an individual is experiencing a new situation such as becoming homeless intense anxiety can progress and serious culture shock can occur, which can be brought on by how they are now perceived by
