abortion and there is little to no cost to you and you know your child will be in a loving home. In the past the topic of abortion has been heavily debated in the senate, we cannot let one personal decision destroy our country. Many states have agreed to make killing of unborn children legal, this cannot happen, our nation cannot handle the high amount of death and loss of money. We shouldn't make abortion legal because, we need to save the millions lost each year, America needs to improve their economic state, and these children could go to homes who want children in their life but can't, due to medical conditions.
Since the end of WWII there have been 1.6 billion children lost to abortions, during this time only 51 countries have banned abortion, and only 10 American states have even placed laws to try and stop this act.
Yet 40 states still turn a blind eye to this procedure. Dennis Howard the leader of the political group ¨Movement for a Better America" says, “In some ways, we’re like the ‘good Germans’ during World War II who never seemed to realize that there was a brutal holocaust going on." This explains that during WWII there were many German citizens who never knew, or wanted to know, about the horrendous happenings in their own country. At this very moment many Americans are in the same situation. Ending this crisis might not be favorable at the moment but soon it will be known as the greatest victory ever. We need to stop the shameless killing of children in America and the world, …show more content…

Every new person in the U.S. gives approximately one million dollars to social security throughout their life due to taxes. This is basically how America makes money, the more people the less debt. When we murder millions of children every year we are taking money out of the U.S. economy. Additionally, much of the U.S. budget goes to Obamacare, which is in correlation with Planned Parenthood. If you go to the Planned Parenthood website you can learn about abortion, sort of. They do not describe the procedure more than ¨an option for pregnancy". They try to make it seem like a simple operation to take away all of your stresses about your unplanned pregnancy, which just so happens to be the opposite of their name. Government money goes towards killing children, it just doesn't seem right. In 2013 President Obama stated ¨if there is any action to save even one child's life we need to take that option." Sadly, he was not talking about abortion, but what is the difference? Saving children, or people never the less, should be the governments top priority.
Abortion may seem like the easy way out but there is an even better option, adoption, it even has ¨option¨ in its name! adoption is the choice mothers should make when they cannot take care of their child. In adoption the child will be given to a family who has been waiting for a long time to receive a child they can care for. Usually couples who want to adopt cannot have children of their own due to medical conditions. If an accidental pregnancy occurs the patient can wait out the pregnancy to give their child to adoption, which can be cheaper than abortion. It also teaches a lesson on responsibility, if you have unprotected sex you will have to carry a child for nine months. If we remove the option of abortion there will be less accidental pregnancies because these people will be more unwilling to carry a child for a long period of time. Becoming pregnant is a big deal and we want young adults to know that responsibility.
Some people may say that abortion is not killing children that it is just "removing tissue" this is not the case.
When a woman is pregnant the child has their own body, even within a month of conception, the child also has a beating heart 18 days from conception, this age is well within the parameters of an abortion. Another argument is that other options, such as adoption, are more expensive than an abortion. On average an abortion costs 1,500 dollars while most adoption agencies will pay for your basic prenatal needs such as, sonogram, your hospital, and they even have a 24/7 moral support hotline. Agencies also have scholarship programs to help you get back into your education. Adoption is not the enemy, perhaps it the side we need to be on, on account of accidental
pregnancies.
In conclusion, abortion is murder of a human being. In the immortal words of Dr. Seuss, "a person's a person no matter how small" this is very true. When we take a minute to look at the facts it's obvious, abortion needs to stop. We cannot let millions of children with no voice of their own die because of a mother's mistake. The simplicity of this topic is this, abortion is murder. America cannot let mothers continue to kill their children because, the abortion toll is already high and is rising, more U.S. citizens will improve our economy, and many couples want to adopt a child. We can stop this, we need to stop this, once and for all. Save the babies, speak for the voiceless.
