2.) The minimum cost of quality occurs slightly before the cost of poor quality and the cost of achieving good quality are at equilibrium. This is at the point where the total quality cost is lowest. The marginal cost of quality is the additional cost that would occur for any change in quality. The marginal cost of quality is shown on the total cost of quality curve where they intersect on an upward slope. Initially total cost is decreasing when marginal cost is negative. But as soon as marginal cost becomes positive then total cost starts become positive. Eventually the marginal cost of quality curve intersects with the total cost of quality curve.…

Analyzing an ad is a process of figuring out what the writer of the ad wants you to think of the product they are trying to sell you. Whether it’s the perfect picture of what you may look like when after using the item or a warm feeling created by the images, colors and textures within the ad persuades the reader to buy. How you interpret the advertisement can all depend on what is going on in your life at the time you read it. Let’s say you had an accident that left you with a scar and you see an ad for a cream that diminishes scars and marks. You would definitely consider buying the cream depending on how it is advertised. If they show incredible results, along with things that help it to be more believable (like FDA approval signs, etc.), you would certainly buy it. I have chosen to analyze an ad for baby formula. Depending on the information in the ad, I will describe it’s how believable it is and whether or not I would consider feeding this formula to my own baby.…

O’Neil mention in his article, ‘The Language of Advertising,” advertisers create in consumers a sense of need for products. I think it is not ethical for advertisers to create such a sense when their products are generic and do not differ from those of the competition. It is common that consumers don’t have too much knowledge about the products that they are buying, and they relay on the information that are provided by the company. If the information is not accurate and correct, which mean the advertisers deceive customers to buy things. For example, some gasoline companies claim that their gasoline is more efficient than the other brands’. Not everyone is a chemical engineer, who can check the formula of the gasoline to see if it is more…

McDonalds’ advertisements are everywhere. The advertisements are on TV, radio, and in magazines. It is nearly impossible to go one day without seeing one. The company spends millions of dollars on advertising their product each and every year to a number of different target audiences. In this advertisement McDonalds is advertising one of the value meals on their menu. The target audience that McDonalds is aiming the advertisement to is middle to upper-class people. It is very effective because it shows that the high class restaurants do not give people the quantity of food that they are paying for. The main feature of the advertisement is a man in a nice restaurant looking at his small portioned meal in disgust. In the bottom of the picture there is a larger portioned meal from McDonalds which is more food for only a fraction of the cost of the meal in the restaurant.…
