Around the world, the age limit in which a person is considered "legal" to have sex varies depending on where one lives. The age difference between a couple is another circumstance that comes up due to the fact that everyone one has their own opinion on how large an age difference should be between an intimate relationship. In the United States the age of consent is between sixteen and eighteen depending on which state one lives in. In today's society, children get taught about sex during sex ed in their fourth or fifth year of school, where its more about the reproductive organs than the actual act. By the time children hit their teenage years in high school it is not rare to hear students talking about having sex or seeing someone pregnant.
