Albert Hackett's The Diary Of Anne Frank

In the play The Diary of Anne Frank by Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich,Anne has trouble staying quiet and still being the energetic person she is. This is shown when workmen leave at night “WHEE”(25;1,3). After the workmen, go home Anne explodes. Anne must feel very cramped, having to stay in the Annex. She may have other people with her but they can't talk for fear they will be found. I related very much to Anne, I would be super energetic. After one week I probably couldn't stand it, I would have to move. Anne like me only wants fun in life “I only want some fun… someone to laugh and clown with”(27;1,3) Anne being they very energetic girl she wants to have someone to laugh and play with. In the Annex most people and older so the only
person she can play with is Peter. Growing up is time for fun, it must have been hard for her to spend about two years barely being able to move. I could not bear to think of being not allowed to move and have to stay quiet all the time. In conclusion, Anne was a very energetic person that had to not talk and move around for two whole years.
