Alex's Integrity

Although stress and anxiety consistently imply an intolerable weight on Alex’s everyday actions and thoughts, he remains unified and untouched by keeping his integrity firm in position and not falling short to any tests of courage. Similarly, Alex did not interfere or argue in nearly every non-violent situation possible. When he was in a conversation with his friends or an adult, he would allow the speaker to fully complete their thoughts before introducing his own. In another example, when a student was performing crudely in a project or even failing to achieve with absolute brilliance like Alex in soccer, Alex would never comment on their inadequacy and in the end would strive to encourage them to push harder. And finally, Alex never created, insisted, or argued with plans such as vacations, sightseeing, or visiting wealthy individuals. Instead, Alex acquiesced with whatever was plotted without a doubt unless it would affect him in a negative way. An example of this behavior is portrayed when Alex went to the mansion in Scotland with Sabina and her father to visit a leader of an aid organization known as First Aid.
