Alternate Ending Of Aquatyph's Last Speech
“Yes, Mother I am fine.” Aquatyph snarled.

“Okay,” his mother began, “your Uncle Zeus is about to deport at the dock and all the citizens of Mt. Dicte are to wish him secure travels.”

“Well, I am not going.” Aquatyph remarked immaturely while curling back up into a ball underneath his plush quilt covered with an oceanic scene.

“I am going and really think you should as well, so get up and dressed I am leaving in five minutes. Also, if you hurry there is a barley cake sitting on the kitchen table.” As Amphitrite lectured and explained what was going to happen she pulled his quilt off of Apollo and left the room.

Reluctantly, Aquatyph crawled out of bed and as he did so he could see his reflection in the mirror. Kinky, long brown hair

Thousands of people crowded around the main attraction to watch the show. With the main attraction being Aquatyph with his powerful force of strength and agility ramming into his target or victim. In Aquatyph’s mind his target was found, he was aiming, and he was getting ready to explode. Aquatyph knew that he should have been the one standing in front of the citizens of Mt. Dicte conducting a speech about how great it feels to be in charge of the people. As Aquatyph realized what was happening and how badly his goal was slipping away from him he became even more furious. Quickly Aquatyph removed himself from the scene and stomped off into the ocean. He decided that he would take a swim to try to alleviate his temper. In the chilly, salt water Aquatyph began to swim laps, with Aquatyph increasing his speed with each new lap. Eventually, his laps turned into large circles of movement and he was moving so quickly that huge waves of water started to form. Since, Aquatyph had a temper and he was just so furious his body temperature was very high and the ocean was at its chilliest point of the year, the two temperatures collided together. Between the speed of Aquatyph’s circular laps and the two temperatures massive waves formed. Some of these waves were two hundred feet in height and crashed along the shores causing great …show more content…
Dicte Apollo and the citizens waited for several months while trying to rebuild the civilization. Apollo tried to be become as great as a ruler as his father but that never happened. Apollo was not born to be a leader of his people because he was very selfish and the power got to his head a bit. In addition, Apollo did not have enough experience to know how to handle a situation to this extent. Therefore, the society fell apart and Apollo did not become the permanent leader of Mt. Dicte. Due to the lack of leadership the people of Mt. Dicte either died or moved on to other successful societies, like Greece. Amphitrite grieved for several months in hopes that her husband and son would return to Mt. Dicte and that they could be all together again, but that never happened. Charm one day hoped that Aquatyph, the love of her life, would someday return, but after waiting for a long period of time her family and her moved to Greece. Zeus’ ship that traveled to Greece carrying Zeus and his five sailmates never returned back to Mt. Dicte. Some believe that the powerful storm on the ocean caused by Aquatyph, caused Zeus’ ship to become shipwrecked. Other people say that there was danger back in Greece which caused Zeus and Poseidon to never return. As for Apollo he was devastated by the failure of Mt. Dicte and one day died from depression on top of one of the cliffs. Eventually people did not even know that Mt. Dicte existed. Lastly, Aquatyph continued to

Hermes, messenger of the gods, is sent to Calypso’s island to tell her that Odysseus must at last be allowed to leave so he can return home. In reply, Calypso delivers an impassioned indictment of the male gods and their double standards. She complains that they are allowed to take mortal lovers while the affairs of the female gods must always be frustrated. In the end, she submits to the supreme will of Zeus. “POP!” “POP!” “CRASH!” Screams of agony and terror filled the town as I sprinted out the front door just in time to see the 15- foot wave of molasses crash down onto the town bellow. Woman, children, and men were devoured by the thick wall of cement while trees and houses were ripped out of the ground and demolished. Every living thing that got in the way of that 35 mph giant was crushed and suffocated by the sticky syrup that engulfed their lungs. I then realized that the wave was raging closer like a tiger chasing for the kill. I lunged forward to move but my legs remained motionless; fear held me like a prisoner chained to the ground. Before I could blink I was hit by such a substantial force and fell to my knees landing in an ocean of…

Athena moves the story of The Odyssey along. At the opening of the book, Athena begs her father Zeus to allow her to aid Odysseus, so he can return to his family, after being trapped on Ogygia for a decade. Athena appeals to the god’s better senses and plays on their sympathy for Odysseus. She says, "My own heart is broken for Odysseus". Athena also guides Telemachus onto the path of manhood and the search for his father. Athena says, "My advice to you is this, if you will let me advise you. Get the best ship you can find, put twenty oarsmen aboard, go and find out about your father and why he is so long away. Perhaps someone may tell you, or you may hear some rumor that god will send, which is often the best way for people to get news."…

A Physical Appearance of Apollo is, A Boy with his hair fastened up so that he may box with Girt-up Head; rays of wrath and light raise up from above his brow, and his cheeks emit a smile mingled with wrath (philostratus). Apollo, though one of the great gods of Olympus, is yet represented in some sort of dependence on zeus , who is regarded as the source of powers exercised by his son. The powers ascribed to Apollo are apparently of different kinds. But are all connected within each other. And may be said to be only ramifications of one and the same as seen from the following…

The gods play a significant role in the outcome of Odysseus and Oedipus’ destiny. In the poem The Odyssey, Odysseus is an epic king who is trying to return to Ithaca from the Trojan War. Throughout Odysseus’ journey, Poseidon, the God of the Sea, is trying to make it impractical for him to return to Ithaca. Despite Poseidon’s efforts, Oedipus finally reaches Ithaca with the help of the goddess Athena. Athea’s role was significant because without her assistance, Odysseus may have never finished off the suitors despite being outnumbered. In the poem Oedipus the King, Oedipus is the King of Thebes who is desperately trying to find the murderer of Laius to end a plague to his people of Thebes. From the beginning, Oedipus was destined for failure by the prophecy even before his birth. The prophecy was to kill his father and marry his own mother. Oedipus receives this oracle that he desperately tries to conceal. Oedipus blames Apollo, the god, for his disgraceful actions by stating, “It was Apollo, friends, Apollo that brought this bitter bitterness” (Line 1329). Apollo clearly destroys Oedipus’ life by controlling his fate and granting people the power of prophecy. Apollo’s role was significant because Oedipus…
