makes it interesting for them, Shakespeare can be understood and loved. When you come to understand the reasons for his works you may come to believe that Shakespeare still matters in this time. Although he may not be for you, you can still learn things from him that you hadn’t really known before. Many of our languages that we talk like today originated from Shakespeare.
He is an icon that we should be learning about. Like Amanda Mabilard had said in Why Study Shakespeare “If you cannot find words to express how you feel about love or music or growing older, Shakespeare can speak for you.” Which is basically saying that Shakespeare has created most of the language we still hear today. Amanda Mabilard had also said, “Many of the common expressions now thought to be clichés were Shakespeare's creations.” Which means the same as the other quote, that many of our languages originated from Shakespeare’s writing. We need to learn about Shakespeare because he was an artist that is a part of our past. I’m not saying it would be interesting, as most things in school aren’t, but learning about him could be a fun experience made interesting by the person it is being taught to. Instead of a boring lecture about him, maybe make it interesting and fun for the people who don’t believe that he is of any significance. Show how his life and poems apply to life now, and ultimately make it easier for the students to fall in love as many have
before.
