Abstract
The topic of the paper is about Jeff Bezos, how he is the founder and CEO of Amazon, and also how he influenced the growth of E- Commerce. The purpose here that lead to writing this paper was to describe and demonstrate more about the self made multi-billion dollar man, and what lead up to where he is now. The source of the information is mainly from many credible sources such as journals, books, and websites like Forbes. In conclusion of the report, I got that with all the billions that Bezos made in the past, he still manages to buy big companies on his own and try to rebuild them and make them even bigger.

Jeff Bezos is an American entrepreneur and investor that was born in January of 1964. As the founder and CEO of amazon, a company started that started out selling books and later grew to a larger variety of products; his entrepreneurship in technology has played a huge role in the advancement of E-Commerce. Under his leadership, Amazon has become the number one online retailer, and a model for all sales on the Internet. At the age of 50 and a net worth of 31 billion dollars, Bezos doesn’t seem like he’s stopping anytime soon. Other than Amazon, the most recent large purchase Bezos has made was The Washington Post for $250 million dollars in cash.
With the Washington post, he decided this purchase has to be separate from Amazon so it can be a personal one for him. Everyone had lots of question asking why anyone would buy a newspaper during this time, what kind of ideas did Bezos have for this company that he was going into. People know that his ideas are always big so where was he heading?
