"AmazonFresh is Jeff Bezos 's Last Mile Quest for Total Retail Domination.”
Amazon has truly redefined the definition of consumer convenience. Not only has Amazon inventor, Jeff Bezos, paved the way for quick delivery of online purchases but the company is also working on making deliveries faster. The innovative tactics Amazon has set them apart from competitors and has also put several other big branded merchants out of business. With the ease of use and the convenient factors of Amazon, this company is finding more options for their customers that are sure to disturb competitors.
Amazon has three very success options for reaching the demands of consumers. These options include fulfillment centers, Amazon Prime, and the newest, AmazonFresh. As an Amazon Prime member myself, I had no idea things could get any better but the fulfillment centers and the AmazonFresh gives even more options for everyone. In today’s society, people are way too busy. Too busy to physically go into a store front and to browse for items that are wanted and or needed. Worker mothers do not care to drag their children out to stores and shop for essentials anymore because it is time consuming and exhausting. Men have disliked long shopping trips for years and Amazon as well as other online shopping entities has made shopping that much more convenient and easy. The “one click” purchase option and he infinite product selection has made Amazon the go to for all things from music to diapers. Another perk for Amazon users is the fast delivery. The use of the fulfillment centers has helped to make the quick ship outs possible. “Amazon 's 1-million-square-foot Phoenix fulfillment center produces a steady and syncopated rhythm. It is the turn of mechanical conveyor belts, the thud of boxes hitting metal, the beeping of forklifts moving to and fro, and
