In the preamble, Jefferson states that every man has the right to life. It may be a basic concept, but during the time of the Native Americans that lived in the same era as the Europeans who came to the new world. The Native Americans were set on establishing complex, long lasting government. This meant that they were willing to do whatever it took in their control to make sure the tribe stayed within the same control as before. When the Native Americans started interacting with different tribes this led to break the complex, long lasting government. Every man has the right to live and to feel safe in his country. Today, the right to life is the basic and core right. We should all be able to feel safe in the place we life and not to have any fear for our lives.
Secondly, we all have the right to liberty. An obvious idea to most of us today, the early American people were in a constant battle with their government over freedom. Liberty can mean a number of things. I think liberty mean independence and freedom from physical restraint or external force, and our basic right that the government cannot take away from us or interfere with. Abigail Adams talks about how the rights of a woman are shattered and they have no say in anything. She wants the president to know that being a woman doesn’t mean
