The formal definition of the word “tradition” as stated by Merriam Webster dictionary is “a way of thinking, behaving, or doing something that has been used by the people in a particular group, family, society, etc., for a long time” (Merriam Dictionary) more often than not traditions are centered around positive situations, experiences and feelings. Typically, when discussing violence one does not think “tradition”. The two things have no correlation, as violence is associated with negatives and tradition positives.
