In the second genre they wanted to attract people interested in women fight for their rights, how they joined the army forces to help their country and demonstrate how strong women are. The article in the second genre informs some of the most important jobs women were in during the war. Some examples of those jobs are the Army and Navy Nurse Corps and Navy Coast Guard. The article shows the significance their jobs had and how women made a difference in the army. They showed how high ranking officials of the United States army realized they were wrong at doubting women. In first genre, the webpage wanted to tell viewers of the commemorations women recently received for their excellent performance during the war and some of the history behind how they earned the commemorations.
